Throughout my life, I’ve been the tech-enthusiast of my family with a curiosity of how web applications work and each component of a web app create a harmonious system. I’ve also been a dancer for almost 2 decades which creates a practice of discipline, grit, and artistry/creativity. I integrate my knowledge of Software Engineering (Computer Science B.S) & Dance minor to creatively produce real-world solutions.
Currently, I am a Software Engineer at PayPal on the Consumer Credit team working mainly on the development and upkeep of Java RESTful APIs along with my team’s internal React/Node app - creating the foundation of the app was actually my PayPal '18 internship project!
With my eagerness for personal growth, I enjoy learning from multiple disciplines which include: public speaking, baking, and exploring dance as a physical user interface for abstract CS topics to produce dance pieces for film/media.

As a Software Engineer Intern at PayPal during Summer 2018, I developed the web application that allowed the FinProd developers to perform administrative and diagnostic functions for a few of their RESTful services. The web application was coded in ReactJS, Node.js for the front-end and Express.js and SQL for the back-end.

Immersion of Choice
Thesis/Creative Project (2017-2018)
Arizona State University
Barrett, the Honors College
The topic of my Creative Project centers on the question of “How can the audience's choices influence dancers' improvisation?” This dance work seeks to redefine the relationship between audience and performers through integration of audience, technology, and movement in real-time. The two web applications "Master Poll" and "Client Poll" were coded in Python.
